Celebrating Creativity, Technology, and Community: Live Room’s End-of-Season Events 2026

The month of June marked an exciting conclusion to Live Room’s 2025–2026 season, bringing together young people, volunteers, educators, artists, and families through a series of activities that celebrated learning, creativity, and innovation. From robotics training and collaborative artistic workshops to a public showcase of talents, the week demonstrated the power of combining technology, culture, and community engagement.

Building Skills Through Robotics

As part of our commitment to expanding learning opportunities in technology and innovation, Live Room partnered with La Estación to organize a three-day Robotics Training at the LABO Center from June 8th to 11th. The training welcomed ten selected participants aged 17 and above, each equipped with their own laptop, to explore the fundamentals of robotics through a practical and accessible approach.

Led by university professors and trainers from Spain, the program introduced participants to the basics of designing, building, and programming simple robots, with no prior experience required. Through hands-on exercises and direct interaction with international experts, participants developed valuable technical skills, increased their confidence in technology, and received certificates recognizing their successful completion of the training.

Art and Technology Coming Together

At the same time, Live Room hosted the third edition of Art and Technology Week, the final activity of its annual school outreach program. Students from Hassan I, Okba, Mohamed V, and Lerchundi schools came together from June 8th to 13th for a unique experience that combined artistic expression, teamwork, and technological discovery.

Rather than competing against one another, participants were organized into mixed teams to encourage collaboration and exchange between schools. Throughout the week, they worked alongside volunteer coaches and mentors to prepare a diverse range of projects, including a theatre performance, choir songs, a stop-motion animation, and a robotics challenge inspired by the skills developed during the robotics training sessions.

Despite the challenges posed by the school examination period, the students showed remarkable commitment and enthusiasm. The week highlighted not only their creativity and talent but also the importance of cooperation, adaptability, and peer learning.

A Grand Finale at Technopark

The season culminated on June 13th with the Live Room End-of-Season Show at Technopark Tangier. The event brought together participants from Live Room’s dance, theatre, and music clubs, as well as the students involved in Art and Technology Week, to present the projects they had developed throughout the season.

Families, friends, partners, and supporters gathered to celebrate the achievements of the participants in a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The audience enjoyed a diverse program featuring theatrical performances, musical presentations, dance showcases, creative audiovisual projects, and demonstrations of the collaborative work produced during Art and Technology Week.

More than a simple performance, the event reflected the spirit of Live Room’s mission: creating opportunities for young people to learn, express themselves, collaborate across disciplines, and gain confidence through culture, creativity, and innovation.

As another season comes to a close, we are proud of everything our participants, volunteers, coaches, and partners have achieved together. We look forward to building on these successes and continuing to empower young people through meaningful learning experiences in the years ahead.
