Live Room Association is pleased to announce you the launching of its first delegation in Europe and which will take place in Barcelona as a non-profit organization registered in Barcelona and governed by the laws of the province of Catalunya. By this project we are aiming to strengthen the bridge Sud-North that we’re building in the MENA region and to develop our future youth exchange activities with Europe and our immigration and human rights topic’s actions…

Several meetings took place in Tangier, Barcelona and online since November 2023 where the project’s co-founder and executive Omar has motivated four other persons to join the project. They have also discussed during those meetings the future mission of Live Room Barcelona, its objectives and organization. Anna Martinez Roig, performed artist and social worker, was designed President of the board of this structure; Imane Moutawakil, Lawyer and social activist, was designed its General Secretary; Omar Mok’s was designed the Treasurer; Asaad Ben Ahmed, IT engineer, coach of martial arts and performing artist, was designed the Vice president and finally Oumar Sarr, musician and social worker was designed the board adviser.

During this month, two meetings were hold in place with potential partners like “Tus Danzas Casq Antic”, “AIDA ONG” and “La Xixa Theater Compagnie” to discuss further ways of collaboration especially in the field of the integration of immigrant in vulnerable situation through artistic actions. We also collaborated with La Xixa Nie for the animation of a theater of oppressed workshop with 22 young immigrant as part of an international project called “Rassif”.
